Conformity

People who are different and have different things like tattoos and piercings are discouraged by society. In Logan Feys’s article, “The society of Leopard Man,” he states that, “society tends to discourage people from expressing their unique ideas and behaving in ways that are different from their peers.” I think that the author is correct; people discourage others that are different because they do it to get attention.
The author mentioned that, “the society tends to discourage people from expressing their unique ideas and behaving in ways that are different from their peers.” Feys means that society discourages people that are different because they only do it to get attention from others. They want to fit in with the rest of the people.
The author also mentioned how society discourages other people when he says, “society looks down upon freakish and extraordinary individuals alike and views them with suspicion.” What that means is that societies put down others that are different. They even call them freakish and view them with suspicion. People judge others without even knowing them. They do this because they are afraid of dealing with conformity.
Feys also states, “such people are desperate for society’s attention.” He means that they go over board to change their appearance and behavior to receive attention. He also states, “from time to time, get society out of your life and out of your mind.” He means that you can be different and at the same time fit in.
I do agree with Feys’s idea about how society puts down those that try to fit in. They are being conformed. So forget about society and be yourself. Let yourself be free but don’t unleash the freak within you.

Five Things You can do to Improve Cooking

1. Hold on to the knife properly. People who put their thumb next to their index on the side of the knife cut vegetables and thing better and faster. Also make sure that you have a good chef knife and to keep it sharp. The longer and wider the knife is the more speed, control, and confidence. When you master using the knife you will cut very fast and be able to control the knife.

2. Cook more. The more you cook the better you get. When you cook more your hand will get used to the gestures and become faster and better. Get used to the fire and everything like how it smells. Cooking is something you have to do over and over to get better at. Cook more and you can memories some recipes and create anywhere.

3.  Use accurate measurements. Make sure you have two sets of measuring cups. There are liquid measuring cups and dry measuring cups. You need to level off dry measurements and you can’t use the liquid measuring cups to level off. Make sure have the proper tools. When you measure make sure you get the right amount or the food might go wrong.

4. Boiling and Steam cooking. Boiling is a method that is to cook with water. People put their food in boiling water to get the tenderness of it.  Steaming is another method that is used to cook your food over boiling water were the steam of the boiling water cooks the the food and makes them crispy.

5. Cook different things and experiment. When you change your style and change the things that you cook it will help you make better dishes. Don’t be afraid to experiment with the food you can change the recipe and make it how you like it. And have fun cooking.

My Favorite Mistake

When I was in the 7th grade and it was Halloween my friends and I went out to scare people. We went by some people we tried to get them scared, but what really happened was that we were acting crazy and my friend tripped and made them laugh instead of being scared.
“Wow we told you to not mess up, but you did nice going” Juan said angrily.
“I’m sorry, I tripped over my shoe lace” Jose answered back.
“I’m just messing around that was really funny though” Juan stated
We kept going and we got to the corner were my friend had a beanie and told us to get what was in there. I put my hand and it was hard but breakable. Then I took it out and saw it was an egg. He had one for each of us.
“This is the first house so throw it Juan” Carlos told him.
“Why do I have to be the first one” Juan responded.
“Just do it.”
“Okay.”
Then he swung his hand with the egg and threw it to the door and we ran but nothing happened. We kept doing it till it was my turn, and as it was my turn I had to throw it and I did so they won’t get mad because they all did it and  didn’t. As I threw it someone shouted.
“Hey” someone shouted randomly.
That messed me up and I threw the egg all wrong and all you hear is “Clash!!!” We started to run and people came out and chased us and we ran to the school were we had to jump a fence.
“Hurry there coming closer” Jose shouted.
I jumped and my shirt got caught on it and fell backward and couldn’t get up, it was very painful I landed in my hip.
“Get up Lupe” I heard that and didn’t know who was that and I kept running and it was hurting bad.
I got home and just went to sleep and hoped it would be okay. The next day when I was tying my shoes, my back started to hurt.
“Are you okay?” my mom asked she knew there was something wrong so she dropped money and told me “Pick that up for me please I dropped by accident.”
I struggled and she said what wrong with me. I said nothing.
“If you don’t tell me you’re grounded.”
I ended up grounded and was just lying down in my bed for a week.

But she demands that Peeta gets rescued. After that he gets rescued. Then they figured out that Peeta has been brainwashed into believing Katniss is the enemy
After the rebels take back the districts they start attacking the Capitol itself.  Katniss and her team go through a booby trapped city.  Losing lots of her team as they go.  After a while Katniss is fighting towards Snow's mansion, which has many human child shields.  Then supply packages rain down from a plane into children and a medical team, which includes Katniss's sister Prim, but instead of supplies there were bombs and all the children die and so did the entire medical team. When Snow's capture they take him to court and found him guilty.  During a conversation with Snow before his execution Snow tells her that the bombing that killed her sister was not send by the Capitol, but by Coin.  At the execution of Snow Katniss kills Coin instead of Snow because she knows that he was not lying about Coin. Then she goes to court for the death of Coin and is not founded guilty.
